Does anyone have the prices in both Pick & Charlton for the Bank of Montreal $5 from Quebec that is dated 1935?
Believe it or not,I actually bought it in a postal auction over here in New Zealand for just over NZ$30! There was no way I was going to pass up the opportunity to get my first chartered bank note from at least one of the provinces.I thought that I would get one from either New Brunswick or Nova Scotia,but Quebec was the last province that I would least expect to get represented.
I would have been nuts to effectively look a gift horse in the mouth,as it were.
Sorry,I can't post photos,as I haven't got either a digital camera or a scanner yet.
